He was also a GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) from 2007 – 2011. He is one of the co-editors for ISO/IEC 27037 – Guidelines for Identification, Acquisition, Collection and Preservation of Digital Evidences. Throughout his career he has been in the project team and also led some teams for various information security projects at both national and international levels. Some of his notable works are working at governmental level in implementing ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System) for a number of local and international organisations, carried out United Nations (UN) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) projects in Middle East, Eastern Europe and African countries addressing cybersecurity needs and the setting up of National Computer Incident Response Teams (CIRT) and conducted many digital forensics analyses for criminal cases in Malaysia.
